The restaurant concept

Highland Table

Conceived as the resort's social heart, Highland Table moves from a quiet breakfast room to an easy lunch terrace and an intimate evening dining room. Natural timber, woven texture and framed hill views would create a setting that feels grounded rather than themed.

The food direction is intentionally broad: contemporary Bangladeshi cooking, relaxed international favourites and a changing thread of ingredients associated with the region. Any future menu would depend on local consultation, seasonality and responsible sourcing.

Atmosphere
Relaxed by day, softly lit and unhurried in the evening.
Kitchen idea
Season-led dishes with clear provenance and approachable flavours.
Setting
Indoor dining, a sheltered edge terrace and views towards layered hills.

Morning above the valleys

Breakfast at hill pace

The imagined morning begins with soft light across the ridges, brewed tea and a breakfast that can be as local or familiar as each guest prefers. A live station might sit alongside fresh fruit, breads, egg dishes, rice-based favourites and gently spiced accompaniments.

Rather than promise a fixed buffet, this concept proposes flexible service scaled to occupancy, with à la carte options helping to reduce waste during quieter periods.

Illustrative only: breakfast format, menu and availability are creative proposals and do not represent confirmed hotel operations.

Ingredient directions

Inspired locally, interpreted respectfully

These are starting points for culinary research, not claims of authenticity or a published menu. Development should involve local growers, cooks and cultural advisers.

Bamboo shoot & garden greens

Seasonal bamboo shoot, leafy vegetables and herbs could inform broths, warm salads or small plates, with preparation guided by local knowledge.

Rice, smoke & citrus

Different rice textures, subtle smoke and bright citrus notes suggest comforting bowls and grilled dishes without copying ceremonial or community-specific recipes.

Fruit from warm slopes

Pineapple, banana, papaya and seasonal orchard fruit could move from breakfast to chilled drinks and restrained desserts, subject to responsible local supply.

Dining with care

Dietary needs belong in the conversation

The proposed dining approach includes clearly marked vegetarian and plant-forward choices, with advance discussion for allergies, intolerances, faith-based requirements and children's meals. A future operating team would need to confirm ingredients and cross-contact controls for every request.

Important: this concept cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Guests should communicate serious allergies directly through the official booking or contact channel once one is available.
